Purpose and contribution to company strategy
The Director of Content and Communications will play a critical role in strengthening our brand positioning, driving thought leadership, and crafting compelling narratives that reinforce our influence in the HR space. This role will oversee global communications, brand positioning, thought leadership, content strategy, as well as public relations. The ideal candidate is a strategic storyteller with a proactive mindset, skilled at positioning senior subject matter experts in influential forums and experienced in PR, media relations, and corporate brand building. A strong appreciation for multilingual communications, diverse markets, and tailored messaging for different personas is essential for success in this role.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement a global communications strategy that aligns with business objectives and reinforces our reputation as a leading authority in HR
- Drive thought leadership initiatives by elevating senior executives and subject matter experts across key industry platforms, media, and events
- Own and evolve the company’s brand strategy, ensuring consistent, authoritative, and engaging messaging across all channels.
- Oversee public relations and media efforts, fostering strong relationships with industry journalists, analysts, and influencers.
- Lead content strategy and execution, delivering high-quality reports, whitepapers, articles, speeches, and digital content that provide relevant and actionable insights.
- Ensure messaging is adapted for multilingual and multicultural audiences, aligning with different market needs and personas.
- Manage crisis communications, ensuring brand integrity and proactive reputation management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to highlight success stories, research insights, and industry-leading initiatives.
- Measure and report on the impact of communication efforts, using data-driven insights to refine strategies.

Qualification Criteria
- Proven experience in a senior communications, PR, or brand leadership role within a global organisation, preferably in the HR, professional services, or B2B space.
- Strong track record of executing impactful thought leadership campaigns and securing high-profile media coverage.
- Deep understanding of employer branding, corporate reputation management, and strategic storytelling.
- Experience developing communication strategies that resonate across multiple markets, languages, and cultural contexts.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills, with the ability to craft clear and compelling narratives.
- Experience in building and managing high-performing teams, agencies, designers and cross-functional initiatives.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, balancing strategic oversight with hands-on execution.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives.
